Dr Lucy Mendham qualified in London in 2000, following which she worked in hospital medicine for four years firstly in Chichester and then New Zealand. Dr Mendham then spent 1 1/2 years in Accident and Emergency in Portsmouth before training as a GP.

Dr Mendham’s medical interests are in cardiology, general medicine, emergency and expedition medicine.

Dr Mendham combines working as a freelance GP with expedition work. She enjoys sailing, tennis and travelling.
